How to Configure SAML 2.0 Configuration

Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is a standard protocol that gives identity providers (IdP) such as CloudGen Access a secure way to let users access a service provider such as Jira Cloud, Slack, and others. SAML authentication can be configured for enrolling devices through a specific identity provider.

Configure SAML

To configure SAML:

  1. Go to Identity > Settings.

  2. In the Authentication Protocol section, click Activate Provider.

  3. Click on SAML 2.0.

  4. Your provider will require the following fields:

    • Identifier (Entity ID)

    • Assertion Consumer Service URL

    • SSO URL

  5. Follow one of the provider-specific steps below to obtain the required fields:

    • Entity ID

    • Redirect URL (SSO URL)

    • Certificate
