While it is not recommended practice, some networks may require that you lock down IP addresses/ranges per service. The following sections list the IP addresses used by the Barracuda Message Archiver. Firewall modifications must be made for outbound traffic only. The Barracuda Message Archiver does not require that you open any inbound ports since the appliance initiates the connection to our cloud.
The IP address ranges in the following lists are subject to change without notice. If this occurs, the Barracuda Message Archiver stops seeding data to the cloud.
You must open outbound ports to enable communication with AWS. Refer to this AWS article for a complete list of AWS IPs or use the following list below for the specific IPs that the Barracuda Message Archiver utilizes. See also Barracuda Message Archiver Data Transfer IP Ranges FAQ.
Note: Ensure that you do not remove any of the current IPs you have set up for outbound ACLs.
