Upgrading to a New or Changed Monitoring Policy

You can update a monitoring policy by installing a newer version from Update Center.

  1. Export the current version of the monitoring policy as a backup. See Upgrading to a New or Changed Monitoring Policy in https://documentation.campus.barracuda.com/wiki/spaces/BRMM20252/pages/8882469 .

  2. Delete the current version of the monitoring policy that you want to replace. See Upgrading to a New or Changed Monitoring Policy in https://documentation.campus.barracuda.com/wiki/spaces/BRMM20252/pages/8882473 .

  3. In Service Center, click Update Center > Components.

  4. Click Updates.

  5. In the Type column, select Monitoring Policies from the list.

  6. Select the check box beside the monitoring policy you want to update.

  7. Click Update.
    After the update has installed, the monitoring policy is updated wherever it is being used; you do not have to re-add the monitoring policy to a service plan.

  8. Add any monitors that you had in the previous version. See https://documentation.campus.barracuda.com/wiki/spaces/BRMM20252/pages/8882489 .
