Barracuda Assistant for WAF-as-a-Service

Barracuda AI Assistant is a chat-based tool integrated with Barracuda WAF-as-a-Service. It provides responses based on the WAF-as-a-Service Campus documentation. Users can start a new chat to ask questions, review their previous conversation history, delete specific chats, or delete all conversations.

Using Barracuda Assistant

The Barracuda Assistant option is available at the top of every screen in the Barracuda WAF-as-a-Service web interface.

Starting a conversation
  1. Click Barracuda Assistant.

    The chat window opens.

  2. In the Ask your Question text box, type your query or select one of the predefined questions displayed below the text box.

  3. Click the arrow AISubmit.png.

  4. Barracuda Assistant will provide a response.

  5. To continue the discussion, enter a follow-up question in the Type your response field.

If you want to begin a new conversation, click the pencil icon AINewConversation.png located at the top right of the chat window.

To close Barracuda Assistant, click the close icon Close.png .

When you exit, your current conversation is automatically saved. The conversation resumes when you reopen the Barracuda Assistant AI.

Deleting a conversation

You can delete individual conversations or your entire chat history with Barracuda Assistant.

To delete the conversations, do the following:

  1. In the chat window, click the three horizontal dots icon in the top-right corner to open More options.

  2. Select History from the options. Your past conversations with Barracuda Assistant are displayed.

  3. Select the checkbox(es) next to the conversation(s) you want to delete or click Select All to choose the entire chat history.

  4. Click the trash icon.

  5. You will be prompted to confirm the action, click Delete to permanently delete the selected conversations.

You can also delete your entire chat history by using the About option.

  1. Click the three horizontal dots icon to open More options.

  2. Select About.

  3. Click Delete chat history.

This option permanently deletes your entire chat history. You cannot select individual conversations when using this option.
