Restore a Proxmox Virtual Machine
Use the following steps to restore a Proxmox Virtual Environment (VE) virtual machine (VM) to its original location or to a different host or cluster within the same Proxmox VE environment:
Log in to the Barracuda Backup web interface, and go to the Restore > Restore Browser page.
Expand the Proxmox VE data source on the left, and click on the VM you want to restore; the available revisions appear.
Click Restore next to the desired revision.
In the Restore dialog box, select the following options:
Options – Select whether to restore to the original location or a different host or cluster.
Overwrite Existing VM – Check this to replace an existing VM with the same VM ID.
Cluster – Select the target cluster.
Target Node – Select the target host node.
Storage – Select the storage location.
VM ID – Enter a VM ID for the restored VM.
VM Name – Enter a name for the restored VM. By default, the original name populates automatically.
Note: When restoring to the original location, the Cluster, Target Node, Storage, VM ID, and VM Name fields populate automatically with the original values.
Click Start Restore.
To monitor the restore progress, go to the Reports > Restore page.
