Planning and Preparation
Before configuring your Barracuda Backup appliance, verify the environment and machines that you plan to protect are supported and meet the minimum system requirements.
Accessing Your Barracuda Backup Appliance
There are multiple ways to access and manage your Barracuda Backup appliance:
Barracuda Cloud Control (BCC) – Log in at https://login.barracuda.com, navigate from the BarracudaONE landing page to Barracuda Backup, and select your appliance.
Local Web Interface (Direct Access) – Enter the appliance's IP address directly in a web browser and log in with your Barracuda Cloud Control credentials. This bypasses the BarracudaONE landing page and takes you straight to the appliance's local management interface. For more information, see Local UI Page.
Barracuda Console (Physical Access) – Connect a keyboard and monitor directly to the appliance for console-level access. This does not require Barracuda Cloud Control credentials. For more information, see Barracuda Console.
Tip: If you primarily manage a single appliance and want to skip the extra navigation through the BarracudaONE portal, bookmark the appliance's IP address and use the Local Web Interface for direct access.
