Setting up Policies for Third Party Software Management

Advanced Software Management policies control the following:

• How often the system scans for updates that could be deployed. The default is every 22 hours, but you can choose between 12 and 22 hours.

• When patches are deployed. You can choose to install according to the corresponding Execution Schedule, or you can override the Execution Schedule and set up a regular, recurring deployment.
