Before Initiating a Remote Control Session Using Remote Desktop, VNC, Telnet or PuTTy

Before you first connect to a device using Remote Desktop, VNC, Telnet or PuTTY, you must download and install the Barracuda RMM Remote Control Client. You need to do this once for each device.

1. Do one of the following:

   • On any page, click the Remote Control On Demand button on the top bar and click Download Barracuda RMM Remote Control Client on the menu.

   • In Service Center, click Status > Devices. Locate the device to which you want to initiate a remote control session.

2. Click the device name and then click Remote Control from the right sidebar. Click the Download the application link.

3. Install Barracuda-RMM-Remote-Control-Client.exe on the target device.
