How the Intronis Backup Agent is deployed
The Intronis Backup agent is deployed to every device included in a policy automatically.
The following apply whenever the agent is deployed:
Devices must meet the technical prerequisites for Intronis Backup agent deployment. Review the specifications in the Intronis Backup agent documentation.
It can take between 5 minutes and 15 minutes for the agent to install on a device.
Some older devices may require a reboot after the agent is installed.
Agents are never uninstalled automatically, even if the device is excluded from a policy, the policy is deleted, or the device is deleted.
