Acoustic Feedback for ZTD Deployment

As of firmware version 8.0.1, all units now play various sound sequences with ZTD deployments.

Successful Completion

After a ZTD rollout is started, the ZTD client script monitors a working connection to the CC. If the process is successful, the box will play the following sound:

You can also check the sound manually on a hardware box.

1. Log into the firewall.

2. Go to SSH.

3. Log into the shell.

4. After the successful login, enter the following command into the terminal window: /opt/phion/bin/hwtool -a 1

Unsuccessful Completion

In case a failure occurs (e.g., ZTD is reverted), the box will play the following sound:

4. After the successful login, enter the following command into the terminal window: /opt/phion/bin/hwtool -a 2
