Configuring Multi-Factor Authentication

To configure multi-factor authentication (MFA), perform the following steps.

1. At the ECHOplatform ribbon, click Preferences, View/Edit Contact Information as shown below.
   (Finance users: At the ECHOplatform ribbon, click Contact Info.)
   Note: The Tech user’s menu does not display all options.

   The Contact Information page is displayed.

2. At the Configure MFA section, click the Add New Device button.
   Step 1 of Set up Your Authentication Device is displayed.

3. Type the name you want to provide for your Barracuda Authentication Device and then click Next .
   Note: This name is used to identify your Authentication Device within Intronis Backup (ECHOplatform).
   Step 2 Set up Your Authentication Device is displayed.

4. Scan the QR Code or type the one-time activation token that is displayed into your Authentication Device and then click Next .
   Note: Both methods require the Barracuda Mobile app (iOS), Google Authenticator, or Duo Mobile authentication tools.
   Step 3 Set up Your Authentication Device is displayed.

5. Type the authentication code your Authentication Device provided and then click the Finish Setup button.
