Specify Email Gateway Defense as the outbound mail gateway so that Email Gateway Defense processes the mail by filtering out spam and viruses before final delivery.

Advanced Threat Protection protects against advanced malware, zero-day exploits, and targeted attacks not detected by the Email Gateway Defense virus scanning features.
