Barracuda Networks is committed to providing maintenance releases for supported firmware every 4 months. At least one release in 18 months will be supported for 30 months (Long-Term Support Version). Support includes technical support, bug fixes, maintenance releases, workarounds, and patches for critical bugs.
Definitions
Long Term Support – Long Term Support versions provide at least 30 months of support from release date.
Standard Support – Standard Support versions provide 18 months of support from release date.
EoS – End of Support.

Important Notice - Intrusion Prevention System on Firmware Version 8.0.x - Action Required!
As of January 1, 2023, the regular IPS signature updates for the IPS firewall engine will be suspended.
Customers who operate firmware version 8.0.x on their firewall(s) and have IPS enabled need to upgrade to 8.2.0 or higher to ensure ongoing IPS signature updates. No other functionalities will be affected.
The official EoS date for 8.0.x is June 2023.
