SecureEdge Access Agent: TLS Certificate Installation

SecureEdge Access Agent: TLS Certificate Installation

This article explains how the SecureEdge Access Agent installs the TLS certificate and specifies the installation location for Linux.

Linux

Linux supports all major distributions. The certificate installs in one of the standard certificate directories.

The root certificate will be added to a distribution-specific folder, for example:

/usr/local/share/ca-certificates/ /usr/share/ca-certificates/ /usr/share/ca-certificates/trust-source/anchors/ /etc/pki/ca-trust/source/anchors/ /etc/ca-certificates/trust-source/anchors/

If the certificate cannot install automatically on a distro, users must install it manually following the distro’s procedures.

Android and ioS

Use MDM to deploy certificates on Android and iOS because these platforms block apps from installing root certs.
