Bailey for SecureEdge

Barracuda Bailey is an AI-driven tool integrated into Barracuda SecureEdge to help users interact with SecureEdge more efficiently. For more information, see Working with Bailey AI Assistant.

Key Features of Bailey
  • Helps you navigate the Barracuda SecureEdge Manager, answers product questions, and guides you in configuring Sites and Edge Services, SD-WAN, ZTNA, and the Secure Web Gateway (SWG) to save time and boost productivity

  • Improves your SecureEdge management portal experience and usability

  • Finds information you want regarding SecureEdge solutions, including use cases and resources

  • Lets you ask questions to make product conversations more useful

Bailey includes these sections:

  1. Ask a question.

  2. Select a predefined question.

  3. Submit a question.

  4. More options contains an About section with chat deletion and new conversation options.

  5. Click the Close button to close Bailey. Your current conversation is saved and will reopen the next time you launch Bailey.

To ask Bailey a question, select either 1 or 2, and then click 3 (the Up arrow icon). You can provide feedback on the response you have received. This feedback is valuable as it helps improve the quality and accuracy of future replies.

Open Bailey

  1. Go to https://se.barracudanetworks.com and log in with your existing Barracuda Cloud Control account.

  2. The SecureEdge Dashboard opens, showing the selected Tenant/Workspace in the top menu bar.

  3. In the top-right corner of the window, click Ask Bailey

  4. The Bailey window opens. Note: To resize the Bailey window, hover over the scroll bar. When the cursor changes to a double arrow, drag left to widen or right to narrow the section.

  5. To get your query answered, you can do one of the following:

    • Write your question in the Ask Your Question box. Note: Requests must not exceed 512 characters, including spaces and punctuation. Your question should be concise and focused. For more information, see Best Practices for Bailey AI Assistant.

    • Choose a predefined question.

      • For example, select a question below and click the Up arrow icon.

      • Your query has been processed and answered. Copy the filtered content for future use. You may provide feedback on the response.

      • The New Conversation pencil icon appears in the top-right corner of the window. You can do the following:

        • Click the pencil icon to start a new conversation.

        • Click the three horizontal dots icon for More options. Two options are available History or About.

          • Click More options > History to view or search previous conversations. Click the trash can icon to delete all previous conversations.

          • Click More options > About to view legal information about Bailey AI Assistant. Note: Bailey may provide inaccurate or incomplete information. Verify responses with source material.

  6. To delete your chat history:

    • In the top-right corner of the window, click the three horizontal dots icon for More options.

      • Click About.

        • To delete your chat history, click Delete chat history.

          • The Delete chat history window opens.

          • Click Delete.

    • Click the pencil icon in the top-right corner to start a New conversation.

  7. To close Bailey, click the close icon X. Note: When you close Bailey Assistant, your current conversation is saved. When you reopen it, the conversation resumes.

Barracuda Networks values your data and lets you delete past chat history. Deleting your history resets the AI and removes your previous interactions with Bailey.
