Manually isolating devices with Microsoft Defender XDR
Microsoft Defender XDR was previously known as Microsoft 365 Defender.
If you have set up ATR for Microsoft Defender XDR, you can manually isolate devices from the network, and undo the isolation at any time.
To manually isolate a device
In Barracuda XDR Dashboard, click ATR Settings > Firewalls.
Click the Microsoft 365 Defender row.
Click Isolate/Unisolate Device.
Select one of the following:
Isolate
Unisolate
Type the machine’s hostname.
Click Submit.
To undo a device isolation
In Barracuda XDR Dashboard, click ATR Settings > Firewalls.
Click the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint row.
Click Isolate/Unisolate Device.
Select Unisolate
Select the machine’s hostname.
Click Submit.
