Integrating Barracuda Email Gateway Defense

To integrate Barracuda Email Gateway Defense, do the following procedures below:

• To set up Barracuda Email Gateway Defense for integration

• To enable the Barracuda Email Gateway Defense integration in Barracuda XDR

To set up Barracuda Email Gateway Defense for integration

1. Sign in to Barracuda Email Gateway Defense.

2. Select Overview > Dashboard.

   Open

   

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page, then copy the ID (including both letters and digits) in the footer and save it in a safe place to use in the To enable the Barracuda Email Gateway Defense integration in Barracuda XDR below.
   NOTE The ID starts with ESS.

   Open

   

4. Click the Syslog tab.

5. In the Syslog integration section, enter the following:

   • In IP Address/Hostname, barracuda-essentials.skout-build.com

     Open

     

   • In Port, 6514

6. Click Add.

To enable the Barracuda Email Gateway Defense integration in Barracuda XDR

1. In Barracuda XDR Dashboard, navigate to Integrations .

2. On the Barracuda Email Gateway Defense card, click Setup.

   Open

   

3. Do the following:

   • Select the Enabled check box.

   • Enter your Barracuda Email Gateway Defense ID from step 3 of the previous procedure.

   • (Optional) Enter your Barracuda Account ID.

     Open

     

4. Click Save.
