Step 3 - Launch the Initial Setup Wizard

Use the Setup Wizard to complete the basic steps to set up the Barracuda Cloud Archiving Service.

1. Log in to https://login.barracudanetworks.com/ using your login credentials.

2. Click Archiver in the left pane. The initial setup wizard will run.
   Alternatively, go to the Basic > Administration page. Click Run setup wizard.

3. Click Get started.

4. Click Verify to verify the directory service configuration in your Barracuda Cloud Control account.
   Note that skipping this step may cause unexpected results.

5. Click Next.

6. Verify that all the email domains you plan to archive are listed here. If there are any missing, add them now.

7. Click Next.

8. The retention policy is enabled by default with a Global Retention Policy of 7 years. Adjust the retention period as needed, then click Next.

   Best practice: Best practice recommends not keeping email data longer than required by your industry's regulatory and compliance laws.

9. Click Finish to apply your changes.
