How to View Zero Touch Inventory

The SecureEdge Manager Zero Touch Inventory page manages physical and virtual appliances remotely. You can use the Zero Touch Deployment (ZTD) system to view all registered appliances and monitor their operational status. The Zero Touch inventory page provides centralized visibility and updates from the SecureEdge management portal.

View All Appliances

  1. Go to https://se.barracudanetworks.com/ and log in with your existing Barracuda Cloud Control account.

  2. In the left menu, go to Infrastructure > Zero Touch and click Inventory.

  3. The Inventory page displays the deployment status of all your appliances. The table columns provide the following information:

    • SERIAL – The serial number of the appliance.

    • MODEL – The appliance model.

    • STATUS – The configuration status, which can be completed, ignored, pending, or registered.

    • PUBLIC IP – The public IP address of the appliance.

    • LAST SEEN – The last date the configuration was used.

    • COMPLETED – Displays the timestamp when an appliance finishes installing its configuration.

    • LOCAL IP – The Local IP address of the appliance.

    • REGISTERED – The registration date.

    • ACTION – The currently performed action, which can be applied, applying, checksum failed, checksum successful, downloading, downloaded, or reverted.

    • CONFIGURATION – The name of the configuration. Clicking on the displayed link opens the Configurations page for more details.

Delete the Appliance

On Zero Touch inventory page, you can delete your appliances:

  1. To delete a appliances, click on the trash can icon next to the appliance you want to remove.

  2. The Delete appliance < Serial-Number> window opens.

  3. Click Delete to confirm. The appliance is then removed from the system.

Deleting the appliance removes it from the Zero Touch database but allows restoration via Full Synchronize or Claim.

Ignore the Appliance

On Zero Touch inventory page, you can ignore your appliances:

  1. To ignore a appliances, click on the ignore icon next to the appliance you want to ignore.

  2. The Ignore appliance window opens.

  3. Click Ignore to confirm. The appliance is then ignored.

Caution before ignoring your existing appliance via the Zero Touch > Inventory page: Ignoring an existing appliance changes its status to Ignored, and Zero Touch will no longer manage it.

Debug the Appliance

The debug icon appears when an appliance has reverted action.

  1. To debug a appliances, click on the debug icon next to the appliance you want to debug.

  2. The Debug information window opens. You can inspect debug information.

  3. Click Close.

Claim the Appliance

To claim the appliance:

  1. Go to Zero Touch > Inventory page.

  2. The Zero Touch inventory page opens.

  3. Click Claim appliance at the top-right corner.

  4. The Claim Appliance window opens. Specify the values for the following:

    • Serial number – Enter the Serial for your appliance.

    • Linking code – Enter the Linking Code that you received in the email.

  5. Click Save.

Partial synchronize

  1. Go to Zero Touch > Inventory page.

  2. The Zero Touch inventory page opens.

  3. Click Partial synchronization at the top-right corner.

  4. The message “Partial synchronization in progress” appears. It fetches all serials added since the last sync for that account.

Full synchronize

  1. Go to Zero Touch > Inventory page.

  2. The Zero Touch inventory page opens.

  3. Click Full synchronize at the top-right corner.

  4. The message “Full synchronization in progress” appears while syncing and fetching all serials added since the last sync for that account.

Export CSV

To export the inventory list, click Export CSV at the top right of the Zero Touch inventory page. A CSV file downloads containing the current filtered results. Use this file for reporting and analysis.

Edit Visible Columns

  1. Follow the steps above to open the Zero Touch inventory page.

  2. Click Edit Columns.

  3. Select or clear the box next to the columns you want to add or remove.

  4. Click Save.

Filtering Functions

  1. Follow the steps above to open the Zero Touch inventory page.

  2. Click Add filter.

  3. Select the filter you are interested in. 

  4. Repeat to add additional filters.

To reset the filter, click Clear Filters.

(Optional) Verify Configuration Status

  1. On the Zero Touch inventory page, click the link in the CONFIGURATION column for details.

  2. The Zero Touch Configurations window opens. The table columns show Version, Status, Matcher, and Matching Value.
