Barracuda XDR Release Notes - September 2026

New Features

ATR for Okta

Barracuda XDR has released Automated Threat Response (ATR) for Okta, cutting response times from minutes to milliseconds by automatically isolating compromised hosts and blocking malicious traffic.

When ATR detects an Okta account has been compromised, Barracuda XDR automatically responds by suspending the affected account through the API. This suspension restricts access and triggers session invalidation, helping to contain threats in real time.

For more information, see Setting up ATR for Okta.

Clarification of installation for Endpoint Windows.exe package for Endpoint agents

The setup for endpoint agents has been updated to clarify that the Windows.exe package can only be installed with CLI.

For more information, see Setting up Endpoint Protection for Devices.

Disk encryption renamed BitLocker encryption

For clarity, on the Endpoint device page, the Disk encryption column has been renamed BitLocker encryption.

For more information, see Working with Endpoint Devices.

Search partial text on the Endpoint devices page

On the Endpoint devices page, you can now search by partial text. For example, previously, to return the device name “Senators”, you needed to type “Sen*”.

Now, you can type partial text in the search box.
