Working with Intronis Backup Policies

Intronis Backup policies are groups of settings and rules that determine how your Intronis backups happen, what is backed up, and where the backups are stored. There are two different kinds of Intronis Backup policies are:

• Intronis Backup Files and Folders Policies

• Intronis Backup Physical Imaging Standard Policies

Intronis Backup policies let you control the settings for Intronis Backups, but they also act as monitoring policies. You can add alerts to them to monitor your Intronis Backups.
