Scheduling JSON Configuration Export

You can schedule the JSON-formatted file of a WAF configuration to be backed up daily, weekly, or at different times of the day. All scheduled backups will be saved to the Amazon S3 bucket.

1. Go to the ADVANCED > Backups page.

2. In the Export WAF Configuration File > Scheduled JSON Configuration Export section, do the following:

   1. Destination - Scheduled backups are saved in the selected destination. By default, Amazon S3 is selected as the destination.
      
      Before you upload files to Amazon S3, ensure that you create an IAM role using the following policy and attach the newly created IAM role to the Barracuda Web Application Firewall instance on AWS:

   2. JSON Config Schedule - Set a time for when the backup should begin. The time specified is local to your unit, in the Time Zone selected on the BASIC > Administration page.

3. Click Save.
