Release Notes - October 8, 2026

This release of BarracudaONE introduces the following:

Application protection in BarracudaONE

BarracudaONE introduces Application protection, a foundational integration for Barracuda WAF-as-a-Service (WAFaaS).

The BarracudaONE dashboard now shows if accounts have purchased and configured WAFaaS, and if it is operating successfully. If WAFaaS is present, the dashboard displays alerts for unhealthy WAFaaS deployments such as connectivity and service errors.

Application protection added to Value reports

Value reports have a new section called Application protection. Users who have Application protection integrated in their environment can now include WAFaaS presence and basic health data in customer/MSP value reports.

For more information, see https://cuda.atlassian.net/wiki/x/koDEIQ.

Support for hybrid users

Previously, certain users didn’t have access to all their accounts, if those accounts were managed by an MSP or reseller.

This is now changed. Any user with admin access to two or more accounts now sees all of them, whether they're MSP-managed, reseller-managed or a mix.

Improvements to the API portal

Customers who create their own apps can now rotate API credentials on their own schedule or recover access when a secret is lost directly from the portal, without opening a support ticket or creating a new key from scratch.

For more information, see Creating apps with the BarracudaONE API .
