Barracuda RMM Support Note

If the device you are removing the Device Manager from is in the scan range of an Onsite Manager, please bear in mind that it might be scanned and show up in the Device List as managed by the Onsite Manager. If this occurs after you have installed the Device Manager, delete the Onsite Manager-managed device from your device list, and it should appear as expected.

Uninstalling Locally (Windows)

  • On the managed device, click Start and Open the Control Panel

  • Select Programs and Features (or Add or Remove Programs)

  • Select Barracuda RMM Device Manager

  • Select Uninstall or Remove

  • Enter the password (if requested) and allow the routine to complete

Barracuda RMM Support Note

The use of popular uninstalling software such as REVO Uninstaller is not supported and could potentially cause issues with reinstalling Device Managers. Additionally, if you receive a password or experience any errors that prevents you from uninstalling and do not know it, please contact the support team.

  • Launch a new "Terminal" session.

  • Change the directory to "UninstalMacDM" by running the command: cd /Applications/ManagedWorkplace/OnsiteManager/UninstallMacDM

If you are reimaging a device, please do not use an image with an installed Device Manager. Doing so will break the Device Manager's functionality and require you to reinstall the software.
