• Email Gateway Defense Release Notes – Released October 2023.

• Recommended Configuration Settings for Barracuda Networks Cloud Products – Lists the IP addresses used by Barracuda Networks cloud products and services.

• Detections

  • "Delete" moves files to the user's recycle bin where they will no longer be scanned.

  • Classifiers marked in yellow indicate sharing violations. Those marked in gray mean that information has been found matching manually created classifiers.

• File Details – Updated violation indicators.

• Noted that using a MX record is recommended when creating a send connector.

  • Using a Signature Service with Impersonation Protection – Customers that are using a signature service with Microsoft 365 may have internal emails flagged/remediated. Steps can be taken to prevent this.

• Getting Started – Added the list of permissions needed to connect to Microsoft 365. Also, added an alert for customers using a signature service with Microsoft 365.

• MSP Topic - Getting Started – New accounts can be connected to Barracuda using the MSP App.

• Button Plugin Config – The Barracuda Email Protection Add-In and Microsoft Exchange button can be used to report suspicious email. Also, the Outlook button and Google button are no longer supported.

• Email Allow List and Best Practices – Emphasized that steps need to be taken to prevent Microsoft 365 Defender from blocking legitimate, simulated phishing attacks used for training.

• Understanding Benchmark Campaigns – Added results and potential next steps for the 2023 Benchmarking campaigns.

• Using the Barracuda Email Protection Add-In – The Add-In will automatically close after moving a reported email to the correct folder or after sending an encrypted message.
