Understanding Backup risks

Data backup risks alert you when critical Microsoft 365 or Entra ID data is not backed up. These risks help ensure business continuity by identifying coverage gaps before data loss occurs.

BarracudaONE detects whether backup solutions are protecting your data. When no backup coverage is detected, a risk appears on the Mitigating Risks page, showing you which data sources are unprotected and how many users or resources are at risk.
