What's New in SecureEdge Access

SecureEdge Access is a major release that includes new features and important fixes.

Preferred POP Selection

Admins can now control the geographies their users connect to and egress from by configuring device profiles. Enable Preferred Points of Presence via Access > Device Profiles. This allows you to select the preferred PoP regions the device connects to. The device automatically connects to the nearest-selected PoP region.

Egress IP List on PoPs Page

Each region now displays its public egress IP, ready for copying into firewall allow lists or Entra Conditional Access policies. You can find these IPs on the Points of Presence page in SecureEdge Manager.

Improved Onboarding Wizard for Access Plans

The enhanced onboarding wizard supports all Access plans (including DNS, Internet, and ZTNA) in a single, guided workflow. It includes the new Web Filter Policy Wizard, which uses AI to translate user intent into policies during onboarding.

Identity Management Updates

Deleting the User Directory for your account may disrupt existing security and access policies. The SecureEdge Identity > Settings page, User Directory section, now includes the option of retaining users and groups. You can now select the option Preserve enrolled users and groups for your workspace; they will then be converted to local users.
