• Barracuda SecureEdge Connector Release Notes – Release 2.0.1.

• Cloud-to-Cloud Backup Release Notes – Various releases in April 2026.

  • Reports Page – This is the new Reports page. The previous Reports page is now called the Activities Page. The Reports page has been redesigned to focus on backup, recovery, and purge job reporting, with built‑in reports and flexible options for sorting, filtering, and customizing columns.

• Email Policies – New Email Protection Policies page now centralizes visibility and management for key Email Gateway Defense policies within a single, unified interface.

• Risky Policies Detection and Remediation – Email Protection now detects and surfaces risky “allow” policies, such as broad domain or wildcard allows for commonly spoofed vendors, and guides you through a one-click remediation workflow to safely remove them per tenant.

• Google Workspace is now available for Incident Response and Impersonation Protection.

• Email Gateway Defense Release Notes – Various releases in April 2026.

• Enhancements to SPF Exemptions for Sender Authentication Page in Email Gateway Defense – Added domain-based exemptions for the Block on No SPF Records policy and clarified that SPF Exemptions by Domain now apply only to SPF Hard Fail and SPF Soft Fail.

• 10.5.0 Release Notes – As a major firmware version, CloudGen Firewall 10.5.0 has been released.

• Bailey - the Barracuda AI Assistant – Bailey is an AI assistant integrated into Data Inspector that answers your questions about Barracuda products and services.

• Scheduled Reports – Data Inspector reports can be generated and delivered via email on the day and time you select.

• Barracuda Data Inspector – Data Inspector compares every scanned file against the IWF (Internet Watch Foundation) database for CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material).

• Email Policies – New Email Protection Policies page now centralizes visibility and management for key Email Gateway Defense policies within a single, unified interface.

• Risky Policies Detection and Remediation – Email Protection now detects and surfaces risky “allow” policies, such as broad domain or wildcard allows for commonly spoofed vendors, and guides you through a one-click remediation workflow to safely remove them per tenant.

• Guide to Bailey the Barracuda Assistant in Email Protection – Bailey, the Barracuda Assistant, is now available in Email Protection to give you quick, natural-language answers and real-time, read-only insights based on your Barracuda data to speed up troubleshooting, reporting, and day-to-day administration.

• Updated User Experience for Barracuda Cloud Archiving Service – The redesigned UI is being rolled out to all customers in phases. After your environment is updated, the new UI is shown by default. No action is required; the change will be applied automatically.

• Changes to Domain-Level Configuration in Email Gateway Defense

• Enhancements to SPF Exemptions for Sender Authentication Page – Email Gateway Defense now supports domain-based exemptions for Block on No SPF Records on the Inbound Settings > Sender Authentication page. If you currently exempt domains with no SPF record, add them under Missing SPF Exemptions by Domain to ensure they’re allowed when Block on No SPF Records is set to Block or Quarantine.
