Microsoft Outlook Add-In

The Microsoft Outlook Add-in allows users to carry out various tasks directly within Outlook, eliminating the need to log into the Barracuda Cloud Archiving Service web interface:

  • Synchronize archived folders

  • Search through messages and other Microsoft Outlook data

Users can access only their own messages. For more information, see https://documentation.campus.barracuda.com/wiki/spaces/BCAS/pages/211288737.

  • Outlook add-in deployment kit - Download to deploy and/or configure the Outlook Add-in. The kit includes:

    • .msi installation files for 32- and 64-bit Outlook

    • .admx Administration templates

  • Outlook add-in installer - The add-in installer (.exe) for Microsoft Outlook versions 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016 (both 32-and 64-bit) users. Not required if the installation is done by the system administrator via the Deployment Kit.

Stand-Alone Search Utility

(Applicable only for Microsoft Windows-based systems)
The Stand-Alone Search Utility provides access to the Barracuda Cloud Archiving Service search features for Microsoft Windows. This utility allows users to search through their own messages directly from their desktop without the need to log in to the Barracuda Cloud Archiving Service web interface, and perform such actions as forwarding or replying to the located messages.
