Administration Page

The Administration page configures default display settings and email notification options.

Setup Wizard

Use the Setup Wizard to complete basic steps to setup the Barracuda Cloud Archiving Service.

Access Control List (ACL)

Restrict all user access to Barracuda Cloud Archiving Service based on public source IP and user role. This includes the web interface and Outlook add-in. Allowed IP Range entries must be in Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) format, for example 209.222.83.132/32.

If no IP ranges are specified here, then access is possible from all systems for all roles.

Email Notifications

The settings used by the Barracuda Cloud Archiving Service for any notifications that go out over email.

  • Send Welcome Emails – Sends a Welcome Email containing the account information for a new account to the email address associated with that account.

  • System Alerts Email Address – Recipients of all automated alerts that are sent directly by the Barracuda Cloud Archiving Service. Separate multiple addresses in a list with commas.

Search Page Settings

Global settings for the Basic > Search page. Each setting can be customized by account role: Admin, Auditor, or User.

  • Global User Search Filter – Select a Saved Search from the drop-down menu to automatically filter search results for all accounts with the User role.

  • Display All Messages on Start – Automatically search for all user messages and display the results when first loading the Basic > Search page. Default setting is Off. Enabling this setting may increase the initial loading time of the Search page.

  • Preserve Journal Wrappers – Includes the journal envelope (which reflects all headers, including the BCC header) when exporting, downloading, or viewing the source of messages pulled from Microsoft Exchange journal accounts. These wrappers are generally not included when exporting or forwarding messages, but in some cases it may be desirable to keep this additional information. Note: This feature is not applicable to the User role.

  • Export Allowed – Enables the "Export Selected" option in the Tools button of the Search page for the selected role. When disabled, the Download link does not display in the Message Preview pane on the Search page.

  • Export All Search Results Allowed – Enables the "Export All" option in the Tools button of the Search page for the selected role.

  • Save Results as CSV Allowed – Enables the "Save Results as CSV" option in the Tools button of the Search page for the selected role.

  • Forward Allowed – Enables the "Forward Selected" option in the Tools button of the Search page for the selected role.

  • Forward All Search Results Allowed – Enables the "Forward All" option in the Tools button of the Search page for the selected role.

  • Resend to Me Allowed – Enables the "Resend to Me" option in the Tools button of the Search page for the selected role.

  • "Tag All" Allowed – Enables the "Tag All" option in the Tools button of the appropriate Tags tab for the selected role. Note: Tagging can only be performed from the PSTs & Tags left-hand navigation menu for the Admin and Auditor roles, and the Folders & Tags left-hand navigation menu for the User role.

  • Enable Preview Pane – Allows the selected roles to use the Preview Pane from the Search page.
