Best Practices for Bailey AI Assistant

Best Practices for Bailey AI Assistant

Best Practices

Make the most of your interactions with Bailey (formerly Barracuda Assistant) by following these best practices:

  • When asking about billing, subscriptions, and activation, ask concise questions specifying the product, account, and/or serial number.

  • Bailey can only provide information. It can't make changes, updates, or perform any write operations.

  • When asking about alerts, the alerts count is limited to 15,000. The maximum alerts Bailey can show is 15,000 in the past 30 days.

Bailey works best with short questions, so keep your requests focused. Requests are limited to 512 characters, including spaces and punctuation.

  • Bailey focuses on security and Barracuda products and can’t give information about other topics.

  • Don’t include code or sensitive information in your requests. Giving sensitive info to any AI, including Bailey, is a security risk. Sensitive info includes credit card details, legal statements, and government identification numbers.

  • Each conversation has an interaction limit. If you hit the limit, you can continue right away, but you’ll have to start a new conversation.

  • If you make 40 requests in an hour, Bailey takes a break before you can start a new conversation.

Like all AIs, Bailey may provide inaccurate or incomplete information. We recommend checking responses with the provided source material.
