How to Search and Filter a Data Source

How to Search and Filter a Data Source

Note: When using the search function, only a single item can be selected and restored at a time.

Use the following steps to search and filter data:

  1. Log in to BarracudaONE. Click Apps at the bottom left. Select Cloud-to-Cloud Backup.

  2. Navigate to the Restore page from the side navigation menu, and select the desired data source.

  3. Using the search bar, type in a search term. The results display all items where the name or folder contains your search term. For example, typing "budget plan" returns all results with "budget plan" in the name or folder.

  4. You can also use the Filters icon (filterIcon1.png) on the top left to add additional search criteria. Click Apply to display the results.

Note: Only the first 100 results are displayed. If necessary, refine your search or apply additional filters to narrow down the results.

Examples

Example 1.

  1. Searching for “adelev” returns the top-level folder of their mailbox unless you also have emails with that search term in the subject line.

  2. Adding a sent date or a From address filter does not return any results as the object does not have either of these attributes.

Example 2.

  1. To find an email from Barracuda Networks support, include a search term, such as "Barracuda", from the subject line.

  2. Filtering this list using “Barracuda Networks Support” in the From address filter is not allowed because it is not an email address. You must use a partial or full email address in the From address filter.

  3. Filtering the same results using an email address, mailbox, and sent date produces a manageable list of results. For example,
